At Blouza Technologies Limited, information security is fundamental to everything we build and deliver. This policy outlines the measures we take to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data across all our products and services.
We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of information security. Our security program is designed to protect our customers’ data, our employees’ information, and our business operations from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. We continuously invest in security technologies, processes, and training to stay ahead of evolving threats.
All data transmitted to and from our services is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 encryption. Database backups are also encrypted and stored in geographically distributed, secure facilities. Encryption keys are managed through a dedicated key management service with strict access controls and regular rotation policies.
We enforce the principle of least privilege across all our systems. Access to production environments and customer data is restricted to authorized personnel only, with multi-factor authentication required for all privileged access. We conduct regular access reviews to ensure permissions remain appropriate and promptly revoke access when employees change roles or leave the organization.
Our infrastructure is hosted on enterprise-grade cloud platforms with SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications. We employ network segmentation, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and continuous monitoring to protect our infrastructure. All systems are regularly patched and updated to address known vulnerabilities. We conduct periodic penetration testing and vulnerability assessments by independent third-party security firms.
We maintain a comprehensive incident response plan that defines procedures for identifying, containing, eradicating, and recovering from security incidents. Our security team is available around the clock to respond to potential threats. In the event of a data breach that affects our customers, we will notify affected parties and relevant authorities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including the NDPR notification requirements.
Our security practices are aligned with internationally recognized standards and frameworks, including ISO 27001, SOC 2, and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR). We regularly audit our security controls and engage independent assessors to validate our compliance posture. We are committed to meeting the requirements of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) and other applicable regulatory bodies.
All employees undergo mandatory security awareness training upon onboarding and on an annual basis. Training covers topics such as phishing awareness, secure coding practices, data handling procedures, and incident reporting. Employees with access to sensitive systems receive additional specialized training relevant to their roles and responsibilities.
We carefully evaluate the security practices of all third-party vendors and service providers before engaging with them. Our vendor assessment process includes reviewing their security certifications, data handling practices, and contractual obligations regarding data protection. We require all third parties with access to customer data to maintain security standards consistent with our own policies and to sign data processing agreements.
If you have any questions about our information security practices or wish to report a security concern, please contact us at:
